Add to Claude

Pro and Max

  1. In Claude, open Customize > Connectors.
  2. Click + Add, then Add custom connector.
  3. Name it AskApex.ai, add https://mcp.askapex.ai/mcp as the remote MCP server URL, and click Continue.
  4. Review the authentication settings Claude detected and click Continue. Under OAuth client, keep Use Claude’s published identity (Recommended): AskApex.ai accepts it. Click Add.
  5. When Claude connects, the AskApex.ai sign-in page opens: sign in with your AskApex.ai account.
  6. In a conversation, turn AskApex.ai on from the + button, then Connectors, and ask.

Team and Enterprise

An Owner or Primary Owner first adds the connector with the same URL in Organization settings > Connectors: Add, then Custom, then Web. Members then find it in Customize > Connectors and click Connect.

Claude Desktop uses the same connector: Anthropic configures remote connectors through your Claude account.

Add the Connector

  1. On ChatGPT web, go to Plugins.
  2. Select the plus button, then Add custom MCP server.
  3. Enter the name AskApex.ai and, optionally, a description. Under Connection, enter https://mcp.askapex.ai/mcp.
  4. Configure authentication: AskApex.ai uses OAuth sign-in.
  5. Review the risk warning and select I understand and want to continue, then Create as a plugin, and review the tools ChatGPT discovered.
  6. Install the plugin and start a new conversation. Type @ in the prompt box and select AskApex.ai; when ChatGPT asks, select Connect and sign in on AskApex.ai’s page.

Add the Connector

  1. On your computer, go to gemini.google.com.
  2. Click Settings, then Connected Apps. If Connected Apps isn’t there, click Personal Intelligence first.
  3. Under Custom apps, click Add a custom app.
  4. Enter https://mcp.askapex.ai/mcp as the MCP server URL and click Next. Leave Advanced features as they are: AskApex.ai needs no credentials.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions. When the AskApex.ai sign-in page opens, sign in with your AskApex.ai account.
  6. In a conversation, type @, select AskApex.ai, and ask.
